All KPS unarmed security officers must meet strict eligibility requirements, including:

• A valid Wisconsin Private Security Permit (or state equivalent)
   
• Completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting
   
• Drug testing and ongoing compliance screening
   
• Minimum age and education requirements
   
• Professional references and employment history verification
   

Each officer receives thorough training in:

• Patrol techniques and perimeter checks
   
• Report writing and incident documentation
   
• Radio communications and dispatch protocols
   
• Conflict de-escalation and verbal judo
   
• Customer service and access control

Many of our officers are CPR and First Aid certified and complete continuing education throughout their employment.

Our unarmed officers represent both KPS and our clients. As such, all officers are:

• Dressed in professional, site-appropriate uniforms
   
• Equipped with radios, flashlights, report forms, and duty belts
   
• Expected to maintain a polished and respectful demeanor
   
• Monitored and supervised by our 24/7 Security Operations Command Center (SOCC)
